Trochiform shell, at the base round, flat and concave, but not umbilicated; obtusely keeled; acuminate summit; nine whorls of the spire, climbing gradually; rounded and inflated near the suture; divided in two portions by the fasciole of the fissure; on the top some beads are directed at an angle; a lower region of more voluminous beads are directed vertically. Fascioles of the fissure decussate by the concentric, semi-circular striae. The umbilical depression is excavated, nacreous, iridescent, turning from a concentric spiral; semi-oval opening; columella covered with a slight nacreous callous; peristome non-reflective, entrenched, without nacre, wide angles, sharply divided by the fissure. The shell is pale pink, ornamented with obscure marks, brownish, mostly around the last whorl. (Translation by Emilia Gillevet)
